Expand access to WASH in schools in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam
According to Unicef Vietnam, 1 out of 5 children in Vietnam lacks access to water, sanitation and hygiene. The situation is similar in Cambodia, and Laos. We know that to help children be successful, we need to expand access for them to hygienic infrastructure in schools such as safe drinking water systems, sinks, and toilets, and hygiene behavior education. At East Meets West, we have compiled a healthy school program to support our children but we need your financial support to reach last-mile communities.
Your donation could go far in helping us deliver solutions for healthy schools to communities where we work:
- $10 could pay for hygiene education materials (fliers, posters) for one classroom
- $25 could pay for safe drinking water for one student
- $50 could pay for sanitary napkin supply for girls for one classroom
- $100 could pay for a mobile hand washing device for a kindergarten
